Seasoned Zentanglers know there is difference between tangling and doodling. When I was drawing this, I felt it was more of a doodle than a tangle - perhaps because I wasn't using traditional Zentangle patterns. Yet, I was using repetitive patterns to create a piece of art. And I was certainly in the Zen mode. What is the difference?
After I finished drawing it, I scanned it and embellished it with digital scrapbook paper using PhotoShop.

This looks to me like a beautiful blend of doodling and Zentangle Inspired Art. When you drew your "string" you were in effect doodling, but when you added your detail in repetitive strokes you were experiencing the peace that comes from creating a zentangle. I love your work, you have been an inspiration to me.
