I am opening my studio on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. to the public. Come by for a visit and see what it is like to live and work in an art studio.
Here is my "tangled wall." My ceilings are high and my knees hurt from all the ladder climbing, but I am happy with it. I keep adding things here and there.
When you come through the front door, you are greeted by "The Gallery of Giraffes." They are so fun to come home to.
At the other end of my studio is my "school of fish" made from recycled liquor boxes.
I am still hanging drawings.
I have an assortment of drawings I have clustered with re-painted plastic animals.
I love my family, and I love my Family Shrine Wall.
Penny,
Just on a whim I bought your 'Tangling Drawing Kit' from Barnes and Nobles last weekend. What a surprising delight it has turned out to be. I felt like a kid entering into a magical world. Few minutes ago, I glanced through the entire project book you put together and can't wait to begin my journey into the art of tangling. I will be visiting your blog often for inspiration and to admire your new artwork. :-)
Thank you and wish me luck. You studio is beautiful and I would love to drop by during my next visit to LA.
First, I have to start with some random lines, scribbles and squiggles!
Cheers,
Siri

May I first mention that your house is incredible. I've just discovered your work in the last book release. I have been devouring and enjoying it immensely and can't wait to get my hands on your latest release. Congratulations and wishing you continued success.
